Euphoria [WIP]

"excellence in audio"

submission: Euphoria [WIP]
date: June 1, 2009

a sound i've been looking for, for a long time. gotta say, this is very nice. the background sounds aside from the snare and the bass flow through this song so smoothly. very relax and chill, perfect to zone out to and forget about everything even if it's just for a second. like i can let myself go in the song and go on a audio ride through the times.

Make it Rain

"Absolutely....beautiful"

submission: Make it Rain
date: April 8, 2007

One of, if not the most moving piece I have heard in all of my years cruising the audio portal. It's as if it has the power to heal the wounds of the soul and brings tears of sorrow, and at the same time comfort, to ones existence. I love the power it has over me. It's as if it's telling you to let it all out. All the hatred, anger and sorrow that one has inside of him/herself.

The choice of instruments used in this piece are wonderful and fit the title perfectly I must say. They all fit together like pieces of a puzzle, putting together this harmonic symphony of sadness and beauty. It's as if they are speaking to you and drawing out the feelings inside of you.

The tears of ones soul. If there ever was a truly epic song of sorrow this would be the one. Even if you feel that all of what I'm saying is a lot I say it's not. I've listened to this song since it came out and through the troubles I've had this year and it does all of what I've mentioned. It's very moving to me. I cannot really say anything negative or point out any faults in this piece. It is perfect in my highest opinion.

Thank you good sir for this epic masterpiece.

Author's Response:

Thank you. It means a lot to me when I hear of someone who's affected by the music I compose. It's especially refreshing that someone has seen it for what it was truly meant to be. So many people these days treat music solely as entertainment when it was original created for something more.

Thanks for the review and the encouragement.

Dracula's Castle (SotN) String

"Decent"

date: October 20, 2006

I don't really care for the long and drawn out moan/howl in the beginning and towards the middle/end. Some parts sound like a electronic synth guitar which is pretty neat. I believe you could've put a whole lot more effort into this piece for it is a cover of a great cult classic intro. You do the song some justice but not quite enough in my tastes. Good rhythm, decent instruments but not enough effort.

I'm just starting to listen to your works so I'm hoping I'm in for some good beats since you have quite a few gold and some platinum tracks.

There's a better rendition of this track a little further up the page. Have you heard it yet?

Lullaby of Far East

"Very nice"

date: September 11, 2006

It is as you titled it, a lullaby. I love how peacefull and soft it sounds. Nothing hard or jagged sounds to it at all. The steel guitar adds a different quality to it. It's not good but not bad, somewhere in the middle. I do enjoy the overal quality of the song, nothing is fuzzy and a nice selection of instruments. You put good effort into it as well and the base sound is great. Overall it's a very nice song.

Paradise on E ZENON REMIX

"This. Wins. Hard."

date: September 5, 2006

I've never heard music of such winning calibur such as this. Rivals songs of RageVI, ParagonX9 and other greats. I don't know where to end and where to begin other than that this is such a beautiful piece of music. Such a great and empowering piece of work, tears of ones soul.

Unleash the Chains ZENON MIX

"Very nice"

date: September 5, 2006

Why does this song remind me of old school RPG songs? I'm really loving the intro to this song. Sounds like it stands for someone mourning the loss of someone and crying out to seek the injustice that has fallen so. That or it's just me. :X It brings to memorie happy times. I like how it's somewhat two different styles mixed into one, very cool. Again, great job with the intro, I'm going to recomend this song to others.

Thank you for the review, man! Doesn't seem like I get decently long reviews too much nowadays :P

"Swell"

date: July 27, 2005

In every aspect of this audio, all of it was quite swell. You my good sir have not only given me one, but two erections and 3 different orgasims as well. I salute you fine sir. B)

-Master

Author's Response:

Yes you see, that was my goal, I calculated the frequency of an erection on my trusty thermometer then reproduced it on my computer, the after effect was this song.

Thank you my good man.

Ultimicia's Castle+*~.0

"Awsome"

date: April 21, 2005

I have just discovered you a few days ago, and I must say, your FF audio is awsome. I love this one by far the best because I love the tune to Ultimicias castle very much so, and seeing I haven't played the game in ages, it brings back warm memories. But yes, it's very good, sounds so much like the original too. I wish I could bookmark you and this audio like you can with flash and authors of flash.

And while you're at it, check out the NG Forums, an Audio Forum opened up not too long ago, so you might want to check it out, very nice people there as well.

Fight Back (Sad And Alone)

"Nice"

date: April 15, 2005

I do like how you've take one of your previous submissions, and re-worked it so. I love how it has somewhat of a heavy feel to it. I had to listen to it about 3-4 times to get a good feel of it before I reviewed it. IMO, some of the beats are a bit too slow, more so the re-worked parts. Other than that, it's great. And I love how random the ending is, I wasn't expecting that! :O

-Master

Author's Response:

Hehehe, this is one of my songs where it’s core is a pattern. If "it's On" or "I See People And They Say Hi" are my most insane, random songs, this would be one of their counter points. It is almost too linear, despite the number of different "heavy" and "soft" phases it goes through, other than it's ending, it is thoroughly repetitive.

Thanks for the review, I am glad you enjoyed it.

Feeling Lost And Alone

"Errie"

date: April 15, 2005

It's got that oldies feel to it. Like the old black and white movies in a way, how it sounds, like as if someone is being watched or stalked by some unknown killer. I do like the whistling tone to it, but it's not really diverse. :/ But it's decent none the lest, not the best, but not the worst.

-Master

Author's Response:

Indeed, I agree, this one isn't anything really that special. I was still relatively new to Fruity Loops when I made this. If I tried to make something like this now, it would come out much better.

Thanks for the review.
